1. Separate indexing from ranking
A brand-name search is not enough. Check whether important service pages are indexed, whether demo/parameter URLs appear, and whether robots or noindex directives block key content.
2. URLs, redirects and canonical must agree
HTTP/HTTPS, www/non-www, legacy extensions and slash variations should not create competing versions. Redirects, canonical and sitemap should point to the same final URL standard.
3. A sitemap is not a dumping ground
Include only preferred, indexable URLs returning 200. Redirects, 404s, noindex pages or URLs canonicalized elsewhere create contradictory signals.
4. Check service-page intent
Pages that repeat the same paragraph with a different service name provide little differentiation. Explain the service, audience, process, scope and relevant questions with useful depth.
5. SEO without measurement is blind
Read Search Console, analytics and conversion events together. Rankings can rise while conversion falls. Traffic can grow while intent gets worse.
Conclusion
One or two issues do not mean “the site has no SEO.” But if indexing, URL standards, content architecture and measurement are all fragmented, fix the foundation before scaling.
